I was thinking about doing the HURST review. I honestly dont know which is better. Do you have any views?

Im from chicago too. This is my 3rd time to take my NCLEX RN. I am thinking about the HuRST review. Still thinking twice in Hurst.

Hurst is better for content, Kaplan is good for learning how to answer questions. You have to do a lot of self study to learn content in kaplan. This means reading the course book which you are expected to read on your own time and watching the content videos if you need extra help. Kaplan worked for me but you need to be very disciplined and use all the resources provided to you. I went to the class, took one week of less serious qstudy, then buckled down for two weeks where I literally did not leave my house. I would wake up late and study from 11am to 11pm only stopping for 1 hour meal breaks.

I used Hurst for Content! I thought it was easy to understand and taught very well and clear! You will love it!

I used Kaplan and I never used the book because well honestly it was too much. I got all that content in school. For 2 years I got content everyday! Heck and I tested 6 months after graduation so I just needed to find my rhythm again. I love Kaplan it was wonderful. I used the qbanks and trainers online all 100% of it. I didn't use the videos much. It's not for everyone we all process differently but for me it was golden

I used hurst free video and more lively lectures and more critical thinking than kaplan. Try those trial version to see urself which is most comfortable review.
