Need help

Who can help me with a list to group medication?

I'm getting overwhemed with all the drugs I need to know for nclex.

I have seen a list of the med groups but can't remember where. I really need help with the drugs to know. Your assistance will be much appreciated.

Cheers

Clau

Quick answer.... Do you have a drug book? They are often listed by class in drug books sometimes in the front sometimes in the appendix.

If you have an iPod /iPhone/ iPad there are some free drug apps. For daily use I like Micromedix. For quick reference there is another free app called MPR that lists by class/condition.

I just used my pharm text from school. It was chaptered by class/indication plus the text/workbook & online resources included hundreds of free NCLEX style pharm questions. I found them to be a great asset & resource.

My point being try starting with resources you may already have on hand. Good luck.

www.quizlet.com is a free website that can be accessed online or through iPhone and Droid apps. On there, anyone can create lists to study and most choose to make them public. If you did a search on that site, you may find some lists you can study already. If you find lists elsewhere, I highly encourage you to check out the site for study purposes. You can use it as flashcards or set up mini quizzes with fill in the blank, true/false, matching, etc. It helped me a lot when I needed to memorize anatomy.
