Need Help with Research Paper

hi! please help me with my nursing research paper. im a nursing student from the philippines. my choice of topic is 'working experiences of filipino nurses in the usa'. my first plan was to ask my aunt who is a nurse in california to help me out with surveying the nurses there. but then i learned that she's in europe right now and so she wont be able to help me anymore. do u have any suggestions on how to conduct my survey, given that i am here in manila, phils., and my respondents are in the states? is it possible to conduct a survey here, online? please help me out! :-) thanks a lot!

Your instructor may be able to point you in the direction of contact people here in the States. Good luck getting responses; it sounds like an interesting topic.

I would think that the most efficient way to do this is to develop a written questionnaire. You should also write a cover letter to go with the questionnaire that explains a little about your research project and what you will be doing with the test results. It can be sent to your aunt here in California and she can print it out and ask every nurse she knows from the Philippines to fill it out and return it to her. She can then send the completed questionnaires back to you. I believe you can also post the very same questionnaire here on allnurses. It is important that you use the very same questionnaire. I believe there is also a Philippino Nurses Association or professional group here in the U.S. You might be able to contact this group so you can get a distribution of your questionnaire to its members by mail. You might post something on the Philippino Nurses Forum here on allnurses to see if someone can give you some ideas on how to find where some of these nurses are.

by the way, are there others who have done the same? conducting a survey online... was your online survey successful?
