Need help quick. Studygroup101 LS3

I just started studying for LS3 too. I have the studygroup101 notes but I think the reason the website says it's expired is because it's not really applicable any longer. The SG101 notes have info on STDs and that was all covered in reproduction. I think they need to update it. If you can PM me I will try and help you.

Do the required reading, practice exams and follow that study guide! I didn't really appreciate that blasted content guide from excelsior until I got down to the last couple of exams. Everything is there that you need to know. A fun place to jazz up your studying when it gets mundane is

Another note - STDs are listed in the content guide for LS3 also, even though they were covered in repro I think it's because they are considered infectious & communicable for section 1

I used SG101 for ALL the theory exams I have taken. IMHO if I were you I would move away from that avenue of study and move to the textbooks recommended. I found SG101 to be spot on for all the exams UNTIL I got to the LS exams. I managed B's in LS1 and LS2 but the exams were uncomfortable, I didn't feel confident, it was like the material I followed in SG101 wasn't quite there, if you know what I mean, then I failed LS3. I'm reading the textbooks for my repeat and I'm starting to understand why I failed LS3 by only using SG101 to study with. Please don't get me wrong. I HIGHLY recommend SG101 for most of the exams, just not the LS exams.

I've always been told that the LS series was much harder - boy do I believe that! I also always follow the content guide and if I don't find enough about it in the study guide to completely understand it, I look it up. I'm working on LS 1 and eyeing ls 2 & 3 and I just can't seem to get into it, so I took a couple weeks off!

As for studygroup101 - I just got an update for LS3, just like 5 minutes ago - so it looks like they are working on improving the Life Span studyguides. When I emailed kay a few days ago she said that the updates would start coming out around November 1, but this one's early - at least it'll be there when I get to that point!!. Kassie K.
