Need Help on Pssing the Board

Nice little video. I am a LPN who just return to scool at the grand old age of 51 and need assistance in passing the RN board. What is your suggestion and how much does it cost?

Thanks,

Sheryl

Hi and Welcome ,

1. I would suggest buying Sounder’s 3rd ed. “Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination” by Linda Anne Silvestri. It comes with CD and a lot’s of practice Qs.

You’ll find in this book 100% of the material which is covered on the actual test

2. I would strongly encourage to take Kaplan course with Q-bank and Q-Trainers. I was lucky and I had an access to the course on-line. I just took my test yesterday and I don’t know the results yet, but I can tell you that out of all material I used, Kaplan Qs Kaplan Qs resembled NCEX-RN 99%. They are even somehow harder than the actual test.

3. I used NCSBN and Mosby’s CAT and , to be honest, they both were worthless to me.

Kaplan will teach you how to prioritize and that’s what majority of the Qs on the NCLEX are about.

Good luck!
