need help for preparing nclex rn exam

hello

actually i am from canada.i am preparing for nclex rn exam for california board for 2nd time .i failed the exam first time. now i need help for preparing this exam like what kind of books i need to review. i took the kaplan course.i did the q bank and question trainer. i have a problem with ...whom u see first.....and the priority question....i read the kaplan course book for rn couse....still i need to study saunders review book????i got my ATT... so i want to know what else i need to study please help me.......

"whom to see first"..."priority" questions - the Hurst review course always told us, pick the "killer" answer. Meaning which situation will kill the patient first...use the ABC's (airway breathing circulation) to help you pick.

Also, remember Physical comes before Physiological...and PAIN is a physiological thing..(meaning, if one of your choices has a pt requesting for their pain meds, they wouldn't be the priority but instead the pt c/o dyspnea will be, unless the QUESTION focuses on their pain).........i dont know if that made sense.:uhoh3:

I found the nscbn review the most helpful and most like nclex. In terms of priority questions, remember ABC's and Maslows. Be sure to read the stem and see if it asking for an assessment or action answer. The questions can be tricky so read all the options.
