need help with PACU/Post-op interview

Hey everyone. I noticed that there are lots of PACU openings in my health system, so I plan to apply in June as internal applicant and get into PACU nursing. Primary reasons being that I want to set my foot into OR, burnt out in floor, and just do something different than crazy medsurg stuff.

I have always wanted to go to ER, but at this point, I just need a break and instead of running around in havoc, I want to be somewhat in control of my surroundings with 1-2 patients at my side; there will be lots of learning curve, but from what I observed during hospital orientation a year ago, the PACU nurses (and pre-op) seemed to really enjoy their gig, and it seemed to fit me well.

I want to know some tips on PACU interview and be ready when it comes. What are some advices? I know that if I go to an ER interview, I will nail it because I love the intensity and frontier-mindedness of ER and it's my passion, but I really don't know too much about PACU and I want to have some lines to say at PACU interview.

Thanks for helping me out.

You might want to post this in the PACU forum instead of the OR forum. I don't know that much about PACU interviews, but those folks over there probably would have some good ideas.
