Hi everyone,
I am a new graduate nurse working on obtaining my BSN. I have an assignment where I have to interview one of the following: Nursing Clinical Information Manager; Super User, Director/Manger Clinical Education; Chief Information Officer; Quality Assurance or Performance Improvement Nurse; Nurse Informaticist; Telenursing Specialist; Nurse Abstractor; Case Manager; Compliance Nurse. I was unable to set up an interview in person and was hoping that I can obtain assistance here. If setting up a phone interview will not be an inconvenience to you, I will gladly appreciate this, if not you can email me so your response can remain private. [email protected]

Welcome to AN! You may want to try calling around to your local hospitals to see if they can recommend a nurse for you to speak with. While there may be those willing to participate online, here at AN you can't verify that the person responding is a nurse, let alone a nurse working in that specialty. Offering to buy a nurse a cup of coffee may go a long way.

No thank you. Please look harder for someone around you who can give an actual in-person interview. I have given many such interviews to students who work up the nerve to ask me in person.
Thank you. I did get a Case Manager nurse to interview in person today. After a week of calling hospitals and requesting an interview, I finally got a call back with a magnificent nurse who was willing to share her experiences with me. It was a wonderful experience and yes, we did enjoy a coffee break!
