Need help finding a school

Hello everyone! I have done a lot of research on many different schools, but I am soooo stuck! I am looking to get my agacnp, and I need a distance learning program. I have looked into University of South Carolina, Maryville, St. Louis University, Seton Hall University, Georgetown, Boise State, Winona University, Vanderbilt, and a few others. I am trying to find a program that is reasonably price, has online resources such as voice over ppts, online lectures, or something I can use besides JUST the book. Additionally, I am looking for a program where I do not have to go to campus ALL the time.

Has anyone taken a strictly online program? Did you feel you still recieved a good education, despite not learning skills on campus? Any suggestions for schools to look into? Lastly, should I get my MSN or DNP? I noticed many schools now ONLY have DNP programs. If this is the way things are going, should I just rip off the bandaid and get my DNP?

    I'm attending Spring Arbor University and I like it so far. Some classes have power points and additional articles to read but they do not have lectures or voice over power points. Spring Arbor University did require us to go to campus in Michigan and perform scrotum/pelvic examinations. It was useful with medical models.

    Spring Arbor is a little bit more costly than other schools but I get an extra year to do clinicals. In my immediate area, they cram clinicals into a year whereas with Spring Arbor I get a year and a half to do clinicals.

    Thanks for the response! Price isn't the biggest factor for me. I would like to keep it reasonable, but I really want a good, quality education!

    I like the way Spring Arbor does clinicals because I am not feeling pressured to rush them. Some coworkers struggled to get their hours in each semester whereas 5 semesters for 125 hours works well for me. I am down to part-time but working full-time hours so it works well for me.

    I'm new here and I too and considering SAU for the AGACNP program. I'm a bit nervous though. It's allot of money and I wanna make the right choice with as much info as I can gather.

    All testing is done online from your home correct?. Any webcam proctoring or having to go to a testing center?. I read another poster's comment somewhere about the assignments and workload being unmanageable......7-12 page long papers, 2-3 page papers for board discussions???. Do you have a similar experience?
