Need help with an activity

I am putting together a "Family Feud"-type game for my upcoming clinical group. I hear there is a lot of bickering among them, and I think some fun, team-oriented activities might help.

So, I'll have 2 groups, and ask a question with 5-10 correct or possible answers (for example: List the 5 rights of medication administration or Name 7 foods high in potassium). The game will play out like the popular TV show with the other team jumping in to "steal" the points if the first team can't get all of the right answers.

I am asking you all for some question ideas! It's for advanced Med-Surg. Thanks for your help! This could be fun!

I have never watched that show so cannot be of any help. However, I do have some websites to share. I believe humor is helpful for learning!

Also, if you do not already subscribe to Creative Learning Techniques then I recommend it. The newsletter is directed towards trainers of all types, but I find I can adapt their suggetions quite well.

The first sitedoes not open for me.

Also as a Staff Educator in a hospital would it be beneficial to join creative learning?

I use the games portion a lot. Training in any industry has some things that are generic so I can adapt these suggestions to my training. It costs $100 a year I think - so maybe your facility will buy it.

Don't know what happened to that first website. Sorry.
