Advice..... go to the doctor!!! Please do. Do not mess around with this. Sounds like maybe a pinched nerve that is affecting you too severely I'm not a doctor, so I do not really know. I just do not want you, one of our allnurse friends to end up paralyzed, or with a stroke, or worse.
PLEASE, PLEASE, see a doctor!!!
Thanks for responding you are the only one that did. I went to er. As far as my back I have PLMD and had fallen out of bed again. Apparently according to xray I have a compression fracture of the T4. ER MD says numb tingly hand is due too carpel tunnel which I never had before and dont believe it would develope overnight but oh well I am just a nurse. Thanks for your concern I really do appreciate it.
I did a google search and came up with multiple references to a strong association of the onset of CTS with those who have had gyn surgery (specifically tah/bso). Here are two of the sites I found, of the MANY:

Your reference to your past surgery made me think, and I recalled two friends developing CTS during pregnancy. I wondered if there is a link to female hormones . . . still don't know for sure, but the references I found are intriguing. Best to you, -- D

I thought maybe they were just asleep and it would go away but now I have been up for hours with no improvement. I am walking hunched over and right hand still numb tingly feelin. I may be an idiot but it has me a tad concerned. I mean I am not dieing or anything but it is driving me up the wall. Only new med is vioxx. Any advice?
