NclexPN application process HELP

i just mailed my application and transcripts today for lpn licensure by examination. my understanding is that it takes about 10 days or so for it to be processed. at that point, we can schedule to take the nclex-pn.

on the board of nursing site, they do have faq section:

looks like the first question will help....we will be able to check our application status online. on the application checklist it does say to wait 10 days before you check so that you can ensure it's in the system. my school told us it would be good to go ahead and register on the pearson site for nclex so that once our license application goes through we can schedule the test.

today, while i was filling out my paperwork i had to call the board of nursing with a question and someone answered the phone right away and helped me with what i needed....so, i'm sure you could call with any questions.

I called the Board and they helped answer my questions!!!

I am taking the NCLEX-RN exam in August. I am pretty sure that the process is the same as for the NCLEX-PN.

I mailed everything in and registered for the NCLEX on PearsonVue on July 9.

Colorado Board of Nursing posted that they received my stuff on July 14.

I got my authorization to test and set a test date today-July 23

So I guess it was 2 weeks from the day that I mailed it in until I could schedule a test date. The first date available was August 12.

OH MY I JUST SCHEDULED ON LINE WITH PEARSON VUE AND WILL TAKE THE TEST ON WEDNESDAY!!! Im so happy ..........congrats on your nclex. Thanks for the reply. (so how hard was it???)
