NCLEX wait?

Published

I turned in my app and money to the state board and the testing ctr last week. Got my post card back and called my school. THey said they sent my certificate of completion last week which was all I was waiting for and the process is complete. So from here, how long does it take for me to get my Authorization to Test????

I'm impatient!!!

Oh gosh that's a great question. I was wondering that myself. Did you graduate already? I graduate in May and we already sent out our apps and $$, and registered on pearsonvue.com. Our director sends out the rest of our info the day we graduate. I wonder how long it takes. I'm hoping the sooner the better!

When you signed up for the test through Pearsonvue, did you give an email address? If you give an email address, you will get your ATT within a few days. If you didn't, you will get it in the mail and it can take a few weeks.

Your fingerprints are submitted as well?

Yes, I've registered and paid with pearson and sent my app and money to the state board.

My school sent out the certificates last week, we graduated the week before that.

So now the waiting game is in effect! I have a job I'm starting next week but am going to work as an aide/PCT until I pass boards. Needless to say, I can't wait to pass and make that extra $6/hr!!!

Within a few days?! I did use my email addy when I registered with pearson because I got the registration confirmations afterwards. But no, I have not recieved my ATT yet. That is what I'm waiting for. I wonder if I'm waiting because I sent my app to the state board only one day before registering with pearson? Or because my school sent out the certificates only last week?

I didn't submit fingerprints. On the instructions it said I didn't need to if I'd done it within 2 years prior, like when I got my CNA last year. So I'm okay, right?

Yes, you're okay if your fingerprint card hasn't expired.

Hmm...don't know what to tell you. A lady from the state board spoke to our class yesterday, and she made it sound like it all happens pretty quickly. Did you go to the azbn website to look at the status of your application?

Yea my status is that I'm pending. FIrst, pending recieval of my certificate of completion (which my school claims to have mailed last week), then pending the passing of state boards. But I have to get that ATT from pearsonvue and I hear we don't get that until state board recieves our certificate from our school?

Uh! It all sounds so confusing.

Our school doesn't send in the info to AZBN until the week following graduation.

That's how mine worked. THey turned grades in, made sure everyone's accounts were paid, and sent the education stuff.

*Finally* got my ATT today, after I sent my paperwork over 3 weeks ago. Now the nailbiting begins!
