Once you have your ATT you can look at dates with your pearsonvue test center or even look at others to see what dates are available

Keep in mind June and July are very busy times for testing due to most schools graduating in May. I graduted in the 3rd week of May 2013 and the earliest open date was in late August. I took that date, but checked several times a day looking for openings that were sooner. I changed my test date 4 times moving the date sooner and sooner. One evening I checked yet again and saw one open for the testing facility closest to me for the very next morning. I took it. (it was now the first few days of June). Once I confirmed I wanted the next days time, I could not cancel or I'd forfeit my payment.

They tests Monday-Saturday and have several times to start your test (the earliest I think is 8am). You can schedule your test for any of the Pearson Vue testing facilities all over the country, you do NOT have to test in the State you sent your license application to. So if you live close to a state border, you may want to consider crossing State lines and testing there. I live very close to one in the next State and know of 1 or 2 students I went to school with who tested in that State because they had testing dates closer to when we graduated.

Once you get your ATT, you'll be able to see what testing facilities have what days/times open. You can go from there and decide on which one appeals to you. Enjoy Mexico!

I think it depends on where you are and how soon your school get your information sent in. Once you get your ATT, you can choose a date. Where I am, we graduated on May 4, and one of my classmates got a test date on May 31. Some test centers are open Saturdays, where I am it is Mon-Fri., but there were test dates all through June and July and I think we were all done by mid-July.
