Hi: I'm new to this. I just recently took the NCLEX exam in CA ( 1 weej ago). The machine turned off at 85 -- I don't know if that's good, bad or what -- not so sure I passed. Are the results posted on line anywhere? If not, guess I'll just have to be patient.

I am not sure about the procedure for results in CA, but I just wanted to let you know that almost everyone I know walks out of the NCLEX feeling drained and not very confident. Something about the exam can really make us question our abilities. Try not to worry though. Relax, watch a good movie or read a (non-nursing) book and try to think positive!

If it was the PN exam, it will be about one month before you get your results, you will not see your name on-line, but will need to wait for a letter. You have not paid for the actual license yet, and cannot do that unitl they send you that letter.
For the RN results, there are no quick results. It can be anywhere from three days to about three weeks or so. Depends on when your school sent in your transcripts, that is the most important part of it. CA will let you test without receiving them, but they will not issue you a license, or let you know results until they have those.

I took my NCLEX-RN on Wed of this week and I am going nuts. At times I feel like I passed and then I feel like I failed. I got about 135ish for questions. I checked the board but there was no license posted as of today, Friday. I am so nervous. I was told by others that it could post on the web as soon as 2 day after the test or as long as about a week but I have no idea and I am left waiting.

Depends on the state, but often there is other information posted, like city or county of residence. Go to the website, and look yourself up. Betcha it is you. Congradulations:smiley_aa :groupwelcome: :smiley_aa

Hello, I wanted to come on and let you know that I took the NCLEX-PN on Thursday at and was feeling extremely sick when the machine cut me off at the 95th question. I was clicking on the next tab, thinking that there was a computer glitch. I didn't feel prepared for the questions that they were asking me; tons of priority questions, questions where two answers were good but I had to determine the better answer, about 5 all that apply. I didn't get any sleep the night that I took it. But I'm here to tell you that I found out this morning, unofficially, that I'm an LPN!!!!! :monkeydance: Hang in there everybody, have faith, believe in yourself, and never give up. What's God has for you is for you. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone still waiting, because it seems like the longest wait of your life. Good Luck!!!!!!
