NCLEX ?

I graduate next week and will be taking NCLEX at the end of this month. How long does it take to know if you passed or failed?

In most cases, you'll know in 48 hours. However, some boards of nursing take longer. In other words, it all depends on which state board of nursing you're dealing with.

It took our school almost a month just to send our transcripts to state. We didn't get our ATT's for 7 weeks after graduation!! 11 weeks from graduation to NCLEX. I hope you're actually able to test at the end of this month.

You can do the Pearson View Trick - lots of threads on that so check them out for more info. Its not official but its one way you can find out within hours if you passed or not. Again its not official, but the trick is pretty reliable. For official results, it depends on your state. My name was on my State BON within 24 hrs after I sat for NCLEX. But as The Commuter already mentioned, it depends on your state. For some it takes a lot longer. If your state participates in quick results, you can pay for quick results through Pearson Vue within 48 hrs. Check your State BON first though before paying for quick results.

Thank you all. I graduated last night, yay! My lead instructor is sending the paperwork to TBON on Aug 10th, and said it should take around 2 weeks for our names to pop up on the state website. I believe I can get the fast results in Texas, so I will opt to do that when it comes test time.

After you take your test - as early as 1-2 hours later you can try doing the Pearson Vue Trick - basically you try to reregister for the exam; If you cant, then you passed .

Other than that, after 48 hours you can pay a fee of $7.95 and get your unofficial results

Hope this helped!
