If you are in the Philippines still do you have a immigrant/work visa for the US and do you have a SSN? CA now requires a SSN before they will accept your application and with retrogression you are looking at a long long wait for a visa plus many US nurses are struggling to find work so will be very hard to find a employer willing to assist you with a immigrant/work visa especailly if you have no job.

Each state has their own requirements, with a couple requiring a SSN before they will accept application. Links to the state boards of nursing can be found at the bottom of the page
