Hello, please can u help. I am an RN practising in the United Kingdom and considering taking the NCLEX. Can you tell me if it is possible to obtain a work permit in the USA easily?

Welcome to allnurses! :balloons:
I have moved your post to the International Nursing forum, since that is where we try to keep all posts about practicing in a different country. Please review the "sticky" threads at the top of the forum about working in the US, and the threads on retrogression. At present, it is difficult if not impossible for a nurse to get a visa to work in the US because demand for visas so far outstrips supply. Nurses who wish to come to the US are looking at a several-year wait to have a chance to get a visa.
There is lots of info about this here on the forum. Best wishes! :)

Welcome
Where did you do your training? As mentioned in previous post currently there is retrogression and probably looking at a few years before obtaining a work visa for the US and to go through the licensure process (That is what you are doing not applying for NCLEX, that is just a part of the process)

We actually have the green card, which is permanent residency. There are essentially no temporary work permits for nurses.
