Hello ,
I passed the NCLEX last April 2007 .
The Board of Nursing from Sacramento , California sent me a letter that I passed the NCLEX . But , they required SSS number for me to secure my License .
My question is @ How can i get an SSS number ? because i'm not a US citizen .
Also , my 2nd concern is @ What will i submit or forward to prospective employer as an evidence that i passed the NCLEX ?
Do i need to ask for a CERTIFICATION from BON , Sacramento ?
Please advice .
GOD BLESS US :balloons:

How to get a number, I don't know.
What to give your prospective employer: to work as an RN you need a license. You present that as proof you passed.

ilka,
I moved your thread to the International Forum for more responses. Take a look around this forum - there is a great deal of info regarding US licensure for foreign grads.

you will only have your SSN once you have a working visa already. you can use the paper they sent to you as a proof.

plenty has been written on this subject and also we now have a sticky on California as initial licensure and problems associated with it. I suggest you read up on retrogression as you will be affected by it and looking at a few years if lucky before moving to the US. I also suggest you have a good read through many of the other threads on here.
Congrats on passing
