nclex the second time

hi there... i took the nclex last month and failed... whta should i do next? i wana take the exam again.

They should have sent you the paperwork to re register for the exam plus a computer printout of where your shortfalls are. Stick with the same nursing board and pay any fees to them and pearsonvue.

I had studied and been practicing since may and I failed at 75! I just found out yesterday! how embarrasing! I can honestly say that i knew that I had failed before I hit question 75. I felt like i was taking an exam in a foriegn language, omg, the drugs were out of control. I got about 20 some pharm, 2 sata, 3 math, and a ton of priorty, several maternity, a few peds, and a lot of questions dealing with older adults, oh almost forgot the billion and one isolation questions! Lost and just don't know how to prepare to take this awful exam for a second time!! I have been reading the threads on this site for several weeks, and have now decided to become a member in hopes that maybe I coulkd help someone and gain some more insight into how to take this exam and beat it!!!:banghead:

When you are foreign nurses it is much harder to pass first time. Best thing to do is give yourselves a few days to recover and then decide on study plan. There are many threads in the forum which should help you both and I do suggest you check out Suzanne's plan here

I've failed 3 times and I'm going to do suzannes plan so... just stay positive and find what works for you!! Good Luck!!!
