NCLEX RETAKE

I have to retake the nclex is 45 days. I am wondering if my next nclex will be similar to my old nclex or will questions be completely different? Not really sure how to study. Everything I would have studied for my first attempt was not on the test. It seemed so random.

The test is random and questions changed every 45 days hence why you have to wait before you resit

It will be a completely new test. When you received your failure notice, you also received a CPR (Candidate Performance Report). This is what you need to refer to in order to formulate a solid study plan for your next attempt. It tells you where you did well.....and where you are weak.

On another note, please change your User ID, as you are not a nurse/RN and therefore cannot use the title. Once you pass, you will be very happy to change it to something with RN in it, and we'll be happy for you :)

Meantime, take a look at the CPR, and work from there.

Good luck!

Yes the nclex is very random, you never know what you will get. If there is anything you don't feel confident with content wise, hit hard on it!
