Ok I have taken the test twice and yet to pass. I am moving back home to VA from NC where I went to school. So I am going to be working at this hospital as a nursing assistant but I have a choice in the shift. I can either work nights or days. The difference is the floors and the managers. I really liked the floor offering a night position. So my question is do you guys think that it would be a good idea to work nights and study for my NCLEX? Let me give more about the hours, it's twelve hour shifts working three days a week and every other weekend. That goes for both days and nights. So what do you guys think?

Are you thinking that the night position will give you more time to study? That would be an advantage, but I wouldn't make the decision on just that.
No I am concerned that working nights will interfere with my studying.

I just received an email from NSNA endorsing a company called Health Career Concepts. They have high tech nclex tools along with study plans for both lpn and rn. These study guides are great and guide you day by day on what to read, which questions to practice etc.....They also offer a 100% money back guarantee.

hi! it depends on your study habits. Even if you're a night person, it could still interfere with your studying. Assuming from your post, i think you really need to pass (I need to pass myself) so, set your priorities first. However, if you badly need the job as well, choose the one that you think might be less stressful for you so that you will have ample time to study and REST. :)
