hi all so i am getting ready to start studying for my boards. graduated dec 19, relaxed all the way until january 6 without opening a book( i needed it), my school offered 3 days of ATI review which was helpful and i am starting Kaplan next week. I am a bit confused as to what i should stick with because all the people at my school stress doing ATI focused review tests. IMO i have never liked ATI because of some of the rationales they give. Half the time it doesnt give an explanation for the right answers. My question is how do i make a study plan because from looking at how the nclex is laid out there are so many subtopics under each section. should i focus on those content or focus on doing Kaplan. i am lost. any helpful tips would be appreciated. thank you.

Hi! I also recently graduated on December 7th and relaxed (enjoyed the holidays) until January 6th too! I still haven't opened a book yet, I'm reviewing online through Kaplan and NCLEX 3500. Is this for your RN or PN? I'm an LVN and graduated with my BSN. I'll be taking Excell nursing review the end of this month. What state are you from? I never liked the ATI either! My school used that religiously and we had to take an ATI exit exam after each nursing course. When I was studying for my NCLEX-PN, I studied Saunders and NCSBN. This time, I don't have a study plan and don't know how to to study for the NCLEX either, just like you. If anyone who has taken it has any suggestions, please help! Thanks! Good luck to you, AngelofSeduction!
Oh and I will be taking my Kaplan review class next month!

Kaplan will give you a study plan, depending on how many weeks out you schedule NCLEX. If you're paying for kaplan, might as well use their program. They say to ONLY use Kaplan, but I added the NCLEX 3500 in because I didn't feel kaplan gave enough SATA questions
RN and i start Kaplan tuesday
