NCLEX Prayers please!

I took the nclex yesterday, and surprisingly... I felt more anxious when I was in school. The computer cut off @ 75 Thank goodness, (of course theres no guarantee but I prayed and I believed I passed the boards. My word of advise to you is... Try and relax the most important thing has occured you graduated from nursing school (that was a challenge in itself) Just relax and remember your priorities, who would you take care of first!!

I did not get any of the new style of questioning... no ck all that applies, no pharm, no identify this location,

What they did ask however was... where would you place your steth to ascultate the aortic valve, rt sternal boarder, lf stern boarder and fifth intercost space and so forth.

Just a bit of advice- by your nic you are already calling your self a RN. In some states - I know the 5 im licensed in it is illegal use said designation unless one is properly licensed.

Just so that you know...This "nickname" is used anonymously on this board. I don't even call myself "nurse" at work. I am an IP at this point. In school my title was SRN for STUDENT REGISTERED NURSE.

I am aware of the legality of using Registered Nurse as a title when not possessing a license. What is the harm by including it in a fake name listed on this board?

You are wrongly assuming that I am already calling myself an actual RN out in the real world.

The RN in my allnurses name could stand for Really nervous...or any other two words that begin with R or N.

i am taking the nclex-rn june 29th!! i am actually nervous. i usually do not worry about test taking...but this is obviously a very important test and i have reason to be so nervous. just asking for some positive vibes sent my way on this day. thanks.

I didnt think you were being accusatory at all. I just wanted to explain where I was coming from when I came up with the name. As to people who are looking for advice...i NEVER give it!

God has blessed me with so much and for that I am so grateful! I am going thru orientation at my hospital and during a lecture I couldn't help smiling all of a sudden. It just dawned on me...I am sitting here getting paid for going into a field I know I am going to love! I am sooooo overwhelmed with excitement about it. I have asked everyone I know to pray for me and all of us here at allnurses who are about to take the big NCLEX! Everyone keep your head up...WE CAN DO IT! :)
