NCLEX IN 3 WEEKS

Hi guys,

I am getting so antsy:wacky: just waiting to take my exam on the 23rd of October. I just keep hoping what I am doing is enough. I am currently studying with HURST online review. I have already watched all of the videos once and filled out my outlines. I am now spending each day with one or two topics from the videos.

Study Plan Example:dead::

Oncology day. I watch Hurst Oncology videos with my outline, stop the video at the end of each page, close my eyes and lecture out loud as though I had a class. I then quiz myself on quizlet under the hurst oncology & oncology med. flash cards I've found. Then I do practice questions from PDA LaCharity under Oncology, Saunders Oncology, and NCSBN oncology. The week before my test I will do all hurst Qbank questions that they have, along with Kaplan Q-trainers 4 to 7.

I am so nervous and hoping that I am doing enough to pass. Wish me luck guys, and if you've used Hurst and passed, please send some encouragement. :unsure:

Good luck!!! Stay positive and try to stick to a specific schedule and as a suggestion, maybe you should space out the Kaplan Q-trainers because it can be somwhat overwhelming with doing all of those questions, I know when I took the kaplan course they told us to do q-trainer 6 two weeks before and q-trainer 7 a week before, but its all up to you, just try not to overexert yourself. I just recently took NCLEX for the second time yesterday and I got the good pop up!!

Good luck

Thank you so much for your advice @Krose13, I will take it into consideration and start my q-trainers sooner. And I am so happy for you!! Hopefully your good results are contagious :sarcastic:Congratulations!;)

Thank you faith246! :D

Yeah definitely space out the qtrainers. I did them three weeks before my test date then focused on the qbanks the last 2 weeks.

I used Hurst, passed with 85 questions. Hurst is excellent and I graduated years ago 2006 and passed on August 19 2013 :)

Wow that is amazing and encouraging to read! You have no idea, how optimistic that makes me. Do you mind sharing with me exactly how you used HURST?

I took Hurst live review(3days),they give you core content book, I would go over two topics a day for example cardiovascular and respiratory it took me about two weeks,I felt confident that I know my core content without hesitation and doubt, after that I did exam cream questions I scored 87-90-94 etc. and I did Saunders scored 67-70-78 something like that , I did Kaplan 145qt scored 76, I think my nclex came straight out of hurst review, if you know your hurst review without hesitation and doubt you can answer any question out there and also use Hurst and Kaplan strategies . Good luck :)

No problem!!! just stay positive and keep studying

I answered 87 questions not 85 :)
