NCLEX Identification?

Published

What identification do you need in order to take the NCLEX? Everywhere I look it says drivers license is sufficient, but my friends from nursing school keep saying I need fingerprints and a passport photo. Is this true? I don't want to be missing things I need and I don't want to get things I won't need. Thanks.

I also called Pearson vue and they said only drivers license

You should check with the testing facility to make sure. In my case, fingerprints and a passport photo were needed to apply for a license, not to take NCLEX. For NCLEX, I needed photo ID. They did scan my hand(s) prior to the test, though.

I guess I had my window open for a while. I'm glad you figured it out!

Thank you, this was helpful.
