Your scores are only a couple of points lower than mine were and I passed the first time. What I did to feel better about it was to call Kaplan and ask them to open the readiness test back up. I retook it without reading any rationales or memorizing any responses and scored a 78%, so I was pretty sure I was ok. They do not charge extra for that. Call them, and retake it. If you get less than 60% on it, consider rescheduling.

Your results are normal. I had the same results and passed at first try w/ the minimum # of questions. Don't freak out. You will do well.

All good advise ...another thing you can do is make a graph with columns and rows label the rows ( over thinking, adding information, etc, adding real world) and place a "tally" In that row and see if you can see the pattern of what it is your missing. It will be easier to correct as you say "silly mistakes" if you know what mistakes you are making to correct. It would be good to see your scores 72 -75 consistently for board success and agree with scaredsilly - if you are around the 60 mark its just a phone call or a click to reschedule and worth it as your scores outside of NCLEX reflect your general understanding of NCLEX so getting them up will help with you nerves as well! Blessings!!!
