NCLEX Freak out!

So I take boards on Monday.

I did the hurst review at the start of the month. Right now though, when I try to study, I make it like 30-60 minutes before I start thinking about the test and what happens if I don't pass and have to walk away for a bit.

And now that its getting really close, I feel like I can't sleep or eat, and feel like I'm getting hyper and hypo mixed up and various other things mixed up!

Did anybody else feel like that? If so, what did you do to calm down or focus more?

I did not have this exact problem, but I truly believe in the power of positive thinking. You have to "fake it to you make it!" I would recommend that when these thoughts come...you instead tell yourself the opposite. As long as you have prepared yourself...you must have confidence that YOU CAN DO THIS! Try & remain clam & if you are not...incorporate some exercise into your life. That may even help you with getting more sleep. I think it is real important to study, rest, and get your mind right PRIOR to the NCLEX. Save that worry & doubt for after the exam  Just STUDY, do LOTS of questions with rationales, and take it easy!

Take a short break and try some relaxation techniques. Be sure the day before to also take a break and give yourself some TLC. Good luck.:D

when my mind wonders during my study time i get back on track by thinking of why i'm doing this and how i will feel after i pass.
