NCLEX experience

Hey everyone! I have never posted anything on this site before, but I just wanted to share my nclex experience because I loved hearing the stories on here! I took my nclex this morning at 8am. I was a nervous wreck. My computer shut off at 75 and I honestly felt like I wasn't getting any of them right. I had about 20 SATA and only a few easy medications. I thought I had failed when I left. Went home and got the good pop up though! I used Saunders and the nclex mastery app. Studied hard for about two weeks. Honestly, nothing I studied helped me. The test was broad. It was not a tricky test. I had some simple questions and some more difficult ones. I didn't find the questions comparable to any other "nclex" style questions I had seen in review books. It wasn't that bad honestly! Hopefully the good pop up means I passed! Good luck to everyone!

Thank you! That's a little relieving. I know you said the test was broad, but did you get a lot of Peds, Neuro, OB, etc? What about lab values?

Congrats RN!!!!

Congrats! Hope you passed for sure! I just took mine on Wednesday and I'm too nervous to look at the PVT. I cut out at 180 for PN.

I did not get any of those topics. Not a single question. Mostly had infection control and priority questions! And the select all that apply aren't as hard as Saunders (in my opinion)! And thank you and good luck!
