Hello there...
I'm writing to ask you fellows whether it's possible to take nclex exam in my final semester of nursing school
Am currently studying nursing in Mansoura university Egypt, I wanna also ask whether I can write nclex exam here in Egypt.
Finally I'd like to know if one must have working experience for the exam requirements?
Thanks....

I think you should focus first on graduating before planning to write the nclex, because if you fail then you will be depressed and may not do well in your final exam in nursing. For where you can write the nclex you need to contact Pearson View to find out from them if it is possible for you to write nclex in Egypt. Good luck.

Answer to question #1, NO. You will need to provide transcripts that prove you have graduated from an approved nursing program first. When you apply, you apply to the individual state in which you want to work. Fifty states, 50 boards of nursing. When you receive your application it will tell you what you need to send, as a foreign graduate, in order to be eligible to take the NCLEX. You might need further education, additional coursework depending on your program's equivalency to nursing education in the US. So you can see, you cannot take the exam until all of that is met.
Answer to Question #2, YES. When you register with Pearson Vue, the official testing center that administers the exam, you will find out where the closest testing site is to where you are located. People take this exam all over the world, once they are deemed eligible to do so.
Question #3, NO. As you are not eligible to work as a nurse in the US until you are licensed to do so, it is expected that you have no work experience first. The exam is designed to test your competency to enter nursing as a novice.
Good luck!

As mentioned you will need to graduate from nursing school before applying to a state. You can sit the exam anywhere in the world in a Pearsonvue centre that is approved to give NCLEX but when sitting outside of the US there is usually a extra fee to pay
