You should be prepared for the NCLEX to ask you anything about any topic, disease, medication, etc. The test is widely varied and can test you on anything you would be expected to know as a nurse. Everyones exam will be different because it is ( CAT ) computer adapted testing. It tries to determine if yu will provide safe effective care within the nursing standards you learned in nursing school. GOOD LUCK on your exam. I am not familiar with the other test you mentioned though. No one can give you specifics because you sign a waiver saying you will not discuss what is on NCLEX. You can get your license revoked for that. Basically you can be tested on anything you learned in nursing school.

It is so hard to just say just study for this or that you have to know so much!! Just go over and over nclex style questions from nclex books so you can get an idea. You can just forget the test you had in school its nothing like that!! Just look over everything!!

Please take the time to do some reading here.
We are unable to discuss topics that someone had on their exam per the requirements of tha actual NCLEX exam when someone sits for it.
Just because someone had a question on their exam, it does not mean that it will be on others, that is now how the NCLEX exam is handled. It is also completely different from the CGFNS exam and requires preparing for it completely separate than what you did for that exam.
Any disease anywhere as well as any drug and everything else is game to be on the exam. You should not focus on anyone area as you can see anything on your exam.

How should you study for the NCLEX?
There are already multiple threads here on how to prepare for the exam. There is no reason to go into those again here.
Please take the time to do some reading on this site, you will find it quite beneficial.
Thread closed since it has been answered.
How can you study over so much information in a short period of time? What should I do to study over so much info?
Preparation for the exam starts when you start nursing school, this test can cover anything that you had in school and wants to know what you will do with the information.
Again, please take the time to actually do some reading on this site. There is much written on what you need to do to prepare for it.
And when preparation is done in a short time, it does not work most of the time; especially even more important when one trains out of the US. This requires months and months of preparation.
