welcome to the site
couple of things first
Which state do you want to work in?
Do you really need to do CGFNS exam? as there are only a handful o states that actually require it
I would suggest visiting and reading our International forum especially the thread titled Primer to working in the US and also threads on retrogression as you are currently affected by it along will all other foreign nurses.
You can find the International forum by clicking the local tab and then click International
I'd lyk to work in california... i think it doesnt require me to take the cgfns but my mom wants me to incase i wud lyk to change states... The thing is,the CGFNS exam here in the philippines will be held on march, the NCLEX exam however, im not sure when... I haven't filed for appliction on both, though... im confused on which to apply first... heeelp!!!
There are only about 5 states that require CGFNS exam, to be honest I would just save your money and just apply for licensure. I would have a really good read in this forum you will find reason why not to use CA for initial licensure and also about retrogression

And I second the information that Anna gave to you, and to add a few things. NCLEX is administered on almost a daily basis. CGFNS exam does not get you a license for the US.
And please in the future, do not use text messaging here, we are trying to get people used to what they will need to do for documentation when they will be at work. Messaging is not acceptable practice for that.

The testing center is already open in Makati City. NCLEX is administered on almost daily basis. Suzanne is the Master Jedi here in case your new to the allnurses. Her advice to take the NCLEX rather than bothering with CGFNS is highly recommended.
