i submitted my NCLEX application last week along with my $200 check and everything else that was required. my school will be sending the BON my letter of completion this week. i was told by my advisor to wait for BON to send me info on fingerprinting, which i'm doing now......
should i be doing something (registering) on pearsonvue while i wait? or do i just wait until everything is submitted and wait for my ATT before doing anything further on pearson???

You can definately register at Pearsonvue and pay the NCLEX fee. Pearsonvue emails you the ATT, so you need to have an account with them to get the email.
Not to scare you, but I submitted my application at the end of April, and I'm still waiting for an ATT.
thanks for the reply. it's just frustrating just waiting for info on the fingerprinting process! anyone know how long it usually takes after sending the application to receive info on fingerprinting?
It took about three weeks for me. And then the earliest appointment was about two weeks later. But they can send you an ATT before your fingerprints are done.
When you schedule your fingerprinting, also call the fingerprinting site and ask if they accept walk-ins. The appointments are scheduled every 8 minutes or so, but it really only takes about two minutes for the whole process.

We're on the same boats buddies. I too submitted all the needed requirements to the BON but didn't applied at Pearson yet.
I'm in California and may I ask how long will I wait until I receive the ATT?
You'll probably have more luck if you ask this question in the California Nurses' Forum. I'm from NJ and I'm not sure how quickly California works.

Hi Ashley, may I ask your advice if you don'y mind? Thanks
Sure, send me a private message if you can. Or email
It's been one month already since I submitted my stuff to BON and my application is still not in their system I was shooting to take the NCLEX the last week of this month, but the way things are moving, I'll probably have to take in August.
My school sent my letter of completion a week after I sent my application.
Btw, this may sound like a stupid question....but everytime I call the NJ BON to check my status, they always ask for my phone number. Are they asking that to look for my information on their system or is it something else? Was just curious.
Sorry. I took me about 8 weeks between sending in my application and getting my ATT. It's very frustrating to wait so long.

Call and check on the status everyday- by my 3rd call I was in the system! The guy even said the more you bother them the faster they want to get it to you
Does anybody know how long it takes to get a license number once you pass the NCLEX?
I called the BON for the second time today (It's been two weeks since I took my exam) and they said it takes 10-15 days for NJ BON to receive the NCLEX results and another 10-15 days for a license number to be issued.
Does this make sense at all? Why would it take they 10-15 days to receive the results when other states post names on their BON sites within a couple of days?
How long did it take you to get a number once you passed the NCLEX? I thought my waiting was over...
