NCBON Background Check

Hi! I am going to be moving to NC after I graduate in May. I have applied through the Nurse Gateway for examination. However I have yet to receive a criminal background packet in the mail... Since I'm going to be moving to NC at the end of May, would it be easier to wait and do the LiveScan process when I get there? Not sure if that would be faster than doing the CBC out of state. Any guidance is appreciated! Thanks!

    Same thing happened to me. I call the NCBON and they said they were sent. However, I still had yet to receive anything. I called again and they said they were going to be sent the following day. I think they wait till they have a decent amount that need sent out then send them all at once. Once they are sent they should only take a few days to get to you. I would call and check in about it. I think it is a lot easier to just wait and get your prints done yourself. I was thinking about making a trip to NC to do live scan but I waited and I am thankful that I did. Hope this helps!
