Just out of curiousity, how many of us have any Native ancestry and do you use traditional Native Healing as you work with your patients? As for me I am 1/8 Seneca. I use both traditional and modern teachings when I am asked for help.

I'm 1/8 Cherokee and a fan of integrative medicine. I've been trained in Japanese, Chinese, shamanic healing as well as native american healing. Couldn't go back to strictly western if I had to, LOL!

I am 1/4 mix Blackfoot Lakhota and Cherokee. My mother is 1/2. To answer your question, my mother does. At this time, I offer only when asked and welcomed, if it is appropriate, and if it is within my current knowledge, ability, and readiness as a forever student of my ancestral culture. I have only returned back to my native roots in the past 10 years....for much of my culture was lost to me and most of my elders have long since passed on.
