MUSC PhD Program - Fall 2018

Thank you to all of you for posting updates and the information that you receive. I am awaiting the DNP-FNP decision too. I don't think that I have ever been this anxious/nervous about a decision. Best of luck to all (DNP and PhD).

For those with access to the stats- can you report the numbers for the PhD program?

PhD in Nursing: PostB (4 in-state and 3 out-of-state applicants)

PhD in Nursing: PostM ( 1 in-state and 10 out-of-state applicants)

There are no pending (acceptances) applications for any program, PhD or DNP. Not sure what the hold up is.

I've been anxiously waiting to hear about the Dnp program so I called yesterday and they said they won't be sending anything until end of the week..

Do you know if they email and mail it out?

Didn't they say they would notify mid March for the DNP program?

So I was told last week they were doing an email and mail that week but now it's pushed back a week later so I'm not sure!

I just called and they said that they are putting together the PhD letters now and it should be sent out in the next day or so. We should be able to call and find out possibly on Friday!

Thanks, Weebie! I was just on this thread looking for updates :). I was beginning to sweat because my deadline for ASU is April 16th, I just declined UT-Tyler yesterday, and was wondering what am I going to do if I don't get MUSC....Good luck all!!!

Are you calling the admissions department or nursing department? Will you call Friday again?
