MUS 1200

I am signed up for this class in Spring 2013. If you have any information about it, would you please post?

Thanks,

Has anyone taken the music class at wosc? How was it?

Somebody took it and said it wasn't bad at all. Going to do it this summer at WOSU.

Do they ever offer this for the BSN completion students? This class sounds nice and I would love to take it. I see they offered it for academic outreach students in the spring but not for the BSN completion students.
I am taking it as an online OU course, not in the BSN completion courses. It is a whole semester, with 3 proctored exams, and an extra credit paper.

How is that class? Is that the class out of the OU Zanesville? Do you have to take your proctored tests at the Zanesville campus? I am closer to the Pickerington center so I could take my exams there. I have signed up for it but it only has 20 seats so I don't know if I will get in. I wish they would offer it like they do for the Academic Outreach students in the 5 week format.

msteeleart- Yes, the course is the Zanesville one. You can take the proctored exams at any testing center. I also live closest to the Pickerington center, but they do have limited hours. I took the first exam at the Lancaster center. There are comprehensive study guides for each exam, no discussion posts or other assignments. So, although it is a full semester, it is not time consuming.

I don't know how close you are to Columbus but I just looked it up and the Columbus Public Library will proctor exams for free. :) I went ahead and scheduled the class since you said it isn't time consuming. It just sounds like an enjoyable class where I can sit outside in the summer and listen to the music and read. I am looking forward to it.

I just looked on the Academic Outreach Course Offering and Music 1200 is offered this summer. June 17- July 20th. I'm going to try to take 3 courses this summer.

You can get the weeks worth of work done in one day.

I live in Gahanna, so am glad to hear that the Columbus library proctors exams. I will check it out. I am going to pm you as well.

Can anyone give me some information about taking this course at WOSC? Musc 1200 at OU is the last course that I need for my BSN and someone on here mentioned it can be done in 10 days at WOSC? Is that Western Oklahoma State College? Thank you!

The 10 day intercession courses were done away with many years ago. I took nutrition and anthropology there when I was working on my BSN, I took music at iowacconline and not at OU. When I took music at iowacconline they had a December intercession course that was 3 weeks long.

Also, one more. Check out Edukan. I did my Microbiology course there and it transferred and they have a music class also
