I am signed up for this class in Spring 2013. If you have any information about it, would you please post?
Thanks,

I am signed up for it as well. No books listed yet, but I'm not too concerned yet.

I just finished this class. You can get the entire week's work done in one day if you want. There are 1 or 2 quizzes each week (those you can take as many times as needed), then a test (1 shot deal) 4 of the 5 weeks. There are listening exercises to earn points. Just try and jot down things about the music to help you remember the composer and certain characteristics. There are also writing assignments where you answer 4 questions about a composer/era. Good luck!

Loved this class, I agree with the amount of course work, I could get it done in about 4 hours a week if I concentrated. This class is not one to stress about. The book HAS to be ordered through Mcgraw Hill so that you can have access to the online content. Think it was about $125, then cannot be resold. Still enjoy the class.

Is this class only offered at certain times? I really want to take it for the summer semester!
I think so. That's how they do things at OU. It's annoying sometimes but you'll work it out. Definitely can be taken with another class to move things along :-)

one if the easier classes. You can take the quizzes as often as you like for the grade you want. test can only be taken once. Easy A
I will say I did the free ebook that you sign up for and just finished the class work prior to the membership being up
I guess I will wait for this class to be offered after the summer semester. Unfortunately, it is not offered for the academic outreach program this summer.
You can always take an intersession class at WOSC. No need to wait around for OU! I believe someone else on the forum did it there.

Ahhhh Michele we do love WOSU! I think I am taking music there next intercession. 10 days is "sweet" compared to 5 or 15 weeks!

Do they ever offer this for the BSN completion students? This class sounds nice and I would love to take it. I see they offered it for academic outreach students in the spring but not for the BSN completion students.
