Well, just received my rejection letter to MTSA. Bummed, but on to the next. Good luck to everyone else.

I just got my rejection letter as well, but just like someone said on this thread, always assume it's a no and keep applying until we get a yes. Good luck to you RxMurse! Keep your head up. I think it was extra competitive this year.

I guess I need to take my own advice then, LOL.

Best advice I have is prepare to answer clinical questions and most importantly, be yourself. They are getting to know you in 30 minutes which is a hard feat, especially virtually.

I received a rejection email today, as well. It must have been pretty generic in regards to how I can improve my application bc I meet all but one of the requirements they recommend I improve on:

-I’ve been working in level 1 trauma center hospitals since I graduated with my BSN 4 years ago.

-CVICU experience just shy of 2 years

-CCRN certified since January

-3.0 GPA or above in all science classes

- also, I have 9 credits total of Chemistry courses

-I’m also involved in a few community volunteer activities

-they recommend a 150 or above in each section of the GRE. I’m just shy of 150 in verbal with a 147 so I’m assuming that’s literally the only thing that held me back from receiving an interview.

I’m planning on retaking the GRE, but appreciate any tips on what else I should be doing bc I’ve given up so much of my life for this so far and I’m extremely passionate of this future career.
