Mt. SAC application for spring 2016

Hi everyone !!! After 5 years I finally decided to pick up where I left off. Time to apply for nursing school :D

Application period is July 1st - September 1st. I'm coming in with 54 points pre-HESI. Just wanted to wish anyone else out there applying to Mt. SAC good luck with the HESI tomorrow ;)

I have yet to see a thread on this particular application period for Mt. SAC so I hope many more join this thread as we proceed with this tedious journey.

Hi,

Thanks for starting this thread. I have my appointment for the test next Tuesday. A bit nervous but God willing we will get into the program. Good luck ladies. :)

Good luck with the HESI tomorrow @LadyAnn7777

Thanks @Mzmira praying all goes well. :)

Yes let us know how it goes tomorrow. Good luck, I'm sure you'll do great ;)

Hi everyone,

I scored an 87% ;( I was hoping for a 90 but it's ok. Keeping my fingers crossed :)

Good luck everyone

@LadyAnn7777, 87% is still good! Congrats!

Hi, you and MzMira keep mentioning a personal statement. I hope you realize a personal statement is only in regards to financial difficulty situations, and is not a mandatory thing we have to do. Other than that congrats, and hope to see you all in the program coming spring.:x3:

Yes your right its not mandatory but it actually does not have to be about financial difficulty. You write a personal statement if you have a difficult personal and family situation or circumstance. That category of the multi criteria is life experience based with a maximum of 2 points (worth 1 each and not all financial based).

Hope that cleared it up a little :)

Thats great!!! I know exactly what you mean though. We were so close to scoring a 90 right :( but no worries that's a good score. You mind if I ask what your points are looking like?

I just submitted my application! Good luck everyone!

Hoping to get everything completed by Thursday ! Good luck. Are you applying anywhere else MzMira?

I've only applied at Mt. SAC. If I don't get in, I'll study for the TEAS and apply at other places. Hoping to get in, though.

Yclario, are you applying at other schools? If so, is Mt. SAC your first choice?

Going by the last couple of semesters, I think you, futuremurse93, and I have a really good shot of getting in!
