MSN (FNP) programs upstate?

Hi,

I'm hoping to move back upstate in December. One challenge I'm having is finding a decent upstate city with a public university nearby, or an online FNP program. I'm not willing to live in NYC or LI (been there, done that, t-shirt). I'm wondering if I can live in NY state and get my FNP online from UMASS Amherst? It looks like their program is under review at the moment for NY state licensing. Anyone know what's going on there? I'm really interested in Saratoga Springs. If anyone works there, would you PM me and let me know what you think of it?

Do any nearby states offer in-state tuition to NY?
