Has anyone applied? How did you do on the TEAs test?

Hey! I submitted my application yesterday. Very late, I know. But, since I also applied at RCC, I was waiting to get invited to take the TEAS with them. So I took the TEAS yesterday morning. I ended up getting an 86 (was hoping for at least a 90, but oh well). If I calculated everything correctly, I am going in with 87 points.
That's a really good score on the teas and overall. Good job! What school are you hoping to get in? Are you doing lvn to rn or regular rn program?

To be honest, I don't really have much of a preference. I only applied to RCC and MSJC. I'm leaning a little more toward RCC, but that's maybe to do with the prestige of their program (a bit shallow, I know lol). Their point system is a bit different though, so with them I'll have 78 points going in. Regardless, I'll take whatever accepts me first! LOL. I'm doing the regular ADN program ? How about you???
I really want to get into the msjc lvn to rn program because it's closer to where I live. I have yet to apply to rcc I have to wait until November.

When do you think you'll hear back from MSJC? Do you know how competitive their nursing program is? Both for regular RN and LVN to RN?? There aren't really many threads with previous applicants and all that. Hopefully you get in!!! How many people do they accept?

I know I've been looking and not much comes up.They said anywhere from October 1st to the 16th. Also, I don't know how competitive it is, but I heard that the regular rn program is more competitive of the both. I think they accept 12 ppl for lvn to rn and around 25 for the regular program. But I'm not too sure.

Bummer that no previous potential class every really posted about it! Wow only 12 people for the LVN to RN program??? That sounds super competitive to me!!! I hope you get in!!! Crossing my fingers for you! ?
I know it would help with my nerves a little if they had lol. Yeah only 12 but I guess less people apply to the lvn to rn program than the regular adn program. Thank you I am too. Best of luck to you. Let me know when you hear anything.
