Moving to Oklahoma

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself. I am a returning adult student who is taking her last pre clinical course (AP II) over the summer. I applied to a local nursing school and should find out if I got in a few weeks.

My hubby is in the military and we are moving from the east coast to OK in July. We just bought a house there and registered our daughter in preschool.

It's crazy right now with so many changes, but we are REALLY excited about moving to Oklahoma.

I just wanted to say hi to everyone!

Thank you for the warm welcome!

My family and myself are so excited. We are actually moving from New Jersey so I think the change of pace will be really refreshing. We are moving to the Duncan/Lawton area.

I just enrolled my daughter in preschool there and she starts in August.

We are counting down the days until we move!

Good luck with nursing school and welcome to OK! What program have you applied to?

Thanks Lana,

I applied to the 2 year ADN program at Western Oklahoma State College in Altus.

Now I am just waiting to see if I got accepted.

Cross your fingers for me!

I just wanted to say, Welcome to Oklahoma!!

Best wishes on getting into nursing school, and hope you like hot weather! :)
