Can anyone give me any information as to what it is like in Delaware. I would like to move to Delaware and am interested in the cost of living. And nursing salaries for RN. I would also like to know which hospitals would be great to work at for a pediatric RN with 2 years experience. I know I can go to salary.com, but I would like an insiders view on the best hospitals and and living areas. Any help would be appreciated.

the best place in sussex county is beebe hospital. it is close to wonderful beaches and great tax free shopping. you can choose to stay in rehoboth beach or lewes which ever you prefer. i do have to admit that the traffic is a problem in the summer, but besides that either one of them is a great place to stay. rn salaries are pretty decent too. :)

I am moving to Dover in June, I am graduating an LPN prog in OH May 5th!!! I was wondering if anyone knows about pay scale for LPN's & where would be a great place to start my job search. Also, how long of a drive is Beebe Hosp. from Dover?

AI dupont all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you'll love it there, as it is also a great place to learn. thinks are not too expensive in de, tax free state. however, the cost of homes seem to be steadily increasing as more people move in. other than that, nice place to raise a family.
"welcome to delaware small wonder"..............hope u like the beach :)

I don't think you would really want to commute from Dover to Beebe in the summer. Beach traffic can be hellish. Still, Lewis and Beebe are at the START of the resort strip and you could pull it off....commute would be probably 30 minutes to an hour, depending on weekends or holidays.
