Hi everyone
I am a 'mature' student about to graduate in December-hopefully!
I am looking to move to Australia and have applied for a couple of new grad positions however my main interest is in mother an child health what we call plunket nursing here. Is there an equivalent over there and how would i go about contacting them. Also i need info on good secondary schools in melbourne and an appropriate place to live with a couple of teens.
Thank you for your help

Hi! Welcome to this awesome site!
Sorry, can't help much with Melbourne coz I live in Qld (yay!). However, you can try the nursing agencies in NZ or the hosp where you have had your interviews etc. They gave me good advise when I was planning my move here and they got me a job within a short period of time. They will probably have more info about something similar to Plunket. I reckon, Plunket's the best! Had great experience with them as a Mum and as a Nurse.
Anyway, you need to be aware of the changes which took place a few years ago. WINZ should have some info about these changes. Check out www.immi.gov.au to do with the reciprocal agreement between Oz & NZ. Try google search and type 'reciprocal agreement between NZ & Oz"
My family and I moved here 4 yrs ago and have not regretted it.
