I know we still have about 3.5 months, but figured I'd post this year since I've been stalking last years! I'm nervous, been going through a divorce around the time of HESI and did not do as great as I wanted. My GPA is 3.7 (as of Fall 2015) and current HESI is 83% (I plan on taking it through MTSU again before the due date in January). Anyone else applied for Spring 2016? At this point my score is 693/800, but again I plan on retaking the HESI. Just seeing where everyone is! Any and all information would be awesome! I'm hoping to get in at the McMinnville Campus since it's only a 20 minute drive. Also, if anyone can give me information like how many days a week, etc. that would be amazing!

Hi! I am currently a first year student and would be happy to answer any questions that anyone might have. To answer your question about how many days a week you will go, go ahead and expect monday through thursday. Mondays and wednesdays are lecture from 9-12. Then, you will have classes called "CCL's" on either tuesdays or thursdays. CCL's are always at main campus and everyone from other campuses come together for this class. These classes consist of interactive and group activities. Then, lets say your CCL is on tuesday, you will have a class called a CNL on thursday. CNL is a lab class where you learn how to do basic skills like vital signs, bedmaking, bed baths, medication administration, and various others. If you are at smyrna or mcminnville, expect to commute to main campus at least twice a week for the first few weeks for CCLs and CNLs.

Hello! I also applied for the fall 2016 class. I have a 3.94 GPA and a 83.6 HESI score. I am retaking my HESI on February 3rd and hoping for much higher. Even if I don't make higher I hope I still have a good chance of getting in. I have also been stalking all of the past acceptance posts so I'm glad you made one for this year!

I am also applying for the 2016 RN Program. My GPA is 4.0 and I will be taking the HESI in March. Any advice or tips for studying for the exam from past or future examinees?
Are we allowed to continue taking the HESI for that scores consideration? I was told the cut off was the last business day in January? And I'd just study for the anatomy and physiology section and maybe vocabulary! Don't stress it though!
The last business day for HESI was the payment for the exam. Cnrains, when you took the exam was their any questions around diagrams and labeling or was it all multiple choice?

I used the book they suggested for the HESI and it was JUST what I needed. It covered every situation you will run into on the test. I got in with an 87 HESI and a 4.0. I think my total score was 435. I know some people got in with 690's and up. Good luck! Let me know if I can answer any questions.

Could you share with me how many questions the whole exam was? Was there any diagrams that needed to be labeled or was it all multiple choice?
I am not sure how many questions, sorry. There is alternative format type questions.

I'm applying for fall 2016 as well!! I am taking my hesi on March 7th and have been studying the recommended book, as well as a couple apps that purchased. This next 2 months are going to be torture waiting to find out. My gpa is a 4.0 so I'm hoping to crush the hesi and get a spot, hopefully in Smyrna. Good luck ladies!
As far as I can remember the math and English subjects were fairly easy. I remember that the a and p was very hard. A and p was what really drug my average down. I scored an 89.6 overall. All the other subjects I scored from 96-98 on. As far as the math goes know the conversions. I used nothing but the recommended book to study with.
I'm in the same situation you are in. I hope to get into Smyrna as well. Have you already taken A&P 1 and 2 yet?
