MOTIVATION

This is something I feel like I am lacking right now. Registered for LS1 and take the test next week. I have done the reading and I know I should be reviewing but I am just tired form work and maybe just feeling lazy.

Wondering what other people used as their motivation, short and long term.

I was looking at new Jeeps online. Of course which was better than studying. I want a new car when I graduate and pass NCLEX. This is more of a long term goal esp. at this rate.

I love love love my Jeep Patriot. :) Maybe something more attainable short-term for a reward? Like a new pair of shoes? (I have a little shoe problem, haha.) I rewarded myself for each exam with something not too extravagant.

You are in the home stretch, and during these last exams it can get hard to keep your momentum going but hit your review hard and give yourself regular breaks. I did consume a moderate/large/excessive amount of strong coffee and chai tea at that point in my life. I also would go to Flash cards, vocabulary memorization, and study games | Quizlet and used their corresponding online flash cards, it really broke the monotomy.

I passed my boards 1/6/2012, starting working as an RN 3 weeks ago and got a new Grand Cherokee Laredo one week ago today :D Look into the 2012 1-B's, you can get FABULOUS deals (but not until you finish your studying, lol!!)
