Don't be discouraged keep trying! Nursing school isn't the end of you life! Life brings many chances and changes and they are called challenges. But don't give up. Pre reqs are important and it will give you a chance to see why and what you need to finish. My friend had and 81 with a 3.3 gpa and she didn't get in so don't give up your gonna make it!

i don't know i had like really strong credentials i work for NYS office of mental health, my letter of recommendation was about me saving one of my patients life, i have a BA in psych from Hunter college i had all the prereqs and i already have 160 college credits all u needed to graduate from hunter is 120 idk . i don't know if i can go through this again and i got a 79 on the test idk. f it .

i don't believe i wasted my original letter of commotion on this school that was given to me from the director of a state psychiatric facility ... fffffff

No don't give up!!!!!!! Did you try Cochran School of Nursing? Try them you have all you need! And to besides why don't you go to do the RN 18 months program your a good candidate for that

JESUS4LIFE I am sorry the website will not let me reply to your personal message because I am a new user. To study for the KAT exam I watched A&P videos on KahnAcademy.com and it is also very helpful for the math section. For the writing and reading sections I would suggest studying an SAT workbook and also using KahnAcademy.com they have great videos to teach you math, writing, and science. You can even download the app and watch the videos without wifi (I would watch them on the train to work everyday)

Honestly this test was extremely difficult to study for, and I wish I could give you better advice but there is no information anywhere on how to study for the exam. The most important thing is now that you've taken the KAT you know exactly what to expect. It is hard to know what is exactly on the test so I would just make sure to know as much as you possibly can to avoid getting stuck on any questions.

I think the pre reqs play a big role as well

I didn't do that well on the test but all of my pre reqs are done.. Im soo nervous!
