Good morning!

Joe, hope work is kind to you today.

I went to fancy brunch yesterday too and it was great.  Lots of good unhealthy and non-vegan food.  I'm glad to see holiday buffets back.  This is their first one since the pandemic.   Then we spent some time at the beach.  I got sunburnt because I only put sunscreen on my bald spot and neck.  It was hot.

I went to endodontist today and he did some tests and said he thinks I need a root canal.  I scheduled it for next week.   Much will be covered by my insurance but it will eat up all the benefits for the year.  Oh well it has to be done because it won't get better.

Quiet day. 65 degrees and sunny, slight breezes. 

I went out to the bank, the bookstore, found out the women's shelter shop was closed today (I had stuff to donate.), and went to the grocery store. Was going to go get my nails done but the guy who did such a good job this last time, isn't working until Wednesday, so I made an appt for that day at 11:30AM.

Guess who didn't realize that the Easter Holiday meant the liquor store would be closed today. He thought he had enough of those little bottles, but alas, he didn't reckon with it not being open today. Soooooo, he asked if he could take the Ativan to tamp down the shakes, which were getting quite obvious. Rather than having him stress all night, I handed him the Ativan bottle, and told him to take it as if it was his 1st day....ie to take three of them. I wonder tomorrow if he'll say the Ativan helped (I mean, that's what it is supposed to do....) Of course, since he'll probably be awake early and make a run to the ABC store to stock up on the peach vodka, I will put the Ativan bottle away, so he can't pop them as AM pills and drink booze.... I guess that's the way it's gonna be, because he has no appt's w/ the doctor in the near future.

He has to be reminded that he has to get on the stick about trying to get the $,$$$.$$ together so he can place Nannie, because they won't hold a bed forever. I have an idea that, if he doesn't carry through, he will still be having to put up w/ Nannie here for longer than he would like.

We are watching the Braves play Cincinnati ; Braves have lost the previous two games to them. Hubby has already moaned and groaned that "I can see already that the Braves aren't going to do anything good this season."  What? After two games? What a pessimist!

Hi. Quiet day. Sis came over to use our internet because hers has been down for a week. She had a televisit with the geneticist so she can be tested for the same abnormality that I have. This will help guide her cardiac care. Because it is yet another gray showery day, I did inside chores and homework. Dh went shopping. As he seems to do most days. So much for me thinking we would have fewer expenses after retiring. Tonight is Antique Roadshow on TV.  What a wild and crazy life!

Decent day. I attended the new employee orientation because we're all being required to do it with a new building and therefore new safety info, etc. Made some progress with the Access database I'm putting together for tracking employee vaccines. 

Hubs surprised me by tilling a garden area. I'm excited to get some things planted. Twin B is working a PRN shift tonight. Thinking that this will be the weekend for a trip to San Antonio.
