MJS in Merrillville (AKAMary Jane's School Of Nursing And Business, LLC) is NOT a nationally accredited program. It is only approved by the Indiana BON to be able to sit for NCLEX.....in Indiana.....but there is no guarantee that the state of Illinois will recognize your schooling and grant you reciprocity in the state of Illinois. There is no shortage of nurses tight now and many hospitals are hiring BSN grads only especially in Chicago.

I would be cautious.

MJS is a new nursing program with initial program approval from BON. First graduating class 2012 -four students passed NCLEX. In 2013, 4 out of 8 passed NCLEX.

Use caution since new program not accredited so credits may not transfer to another program if considering BSN degree in future--see BON info: What is Accreditation?
